Today was Tyson's graveside service. It was a beautiful warm morning. Everyone gathered under a nearby tree and you could hear everyone chattering quietly. It was good to see those who you don't see often. It was very touching as the funeral limo arrived. The two back doors opened and our sister-in-law Kathy stepped out with her 22 month old son Tanner. Dustin's brother Jared sat in the limo holding a very small white casket until Kathy and Tanner took their seats. Jared then walked with the casket in his arms and gently placed it down on the ground. They had a small bouquet of roses they placed on top.
The service went quickly and it was very sweet. Dustin's brother Jared spoke, then all of the brothers, sisters, and some nephews sang, Families Can Be Together Forever. My sweet husband was the one to start us all and he was so strong. Then a few of the brothers were the only ones you could hear. The rest of us didn't even get 2 words out. Then Dustin's dad dedicated the grave and we went on to the luncheon.
I am so happy that things went well for Jared and Kathy. They deserve it after all they have been through the past 3 weeks.

I'm glad we were able to go. I have pictures of it on my blog now. Yeah, Travis lost it during the song, so he wasn't one of the brothers singing too well...
Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine how hard that would be. How are you feeling these days? Let me know if you need anything. We are up for visitors anytime so whenever you have a minute pop on over here.
