Emma turned 5

I can't believe my oldest is 5. I still remember the day she was born like yesterday. What a joy she is. I really mean it. She is a very even tempered, happy girl. She is extremely helpful and will do just about anything for her sister and brother. What I am saying she will do anything for anyone.

The day before her birthday we went to Sand Hallow Aquatics Center to swim. We had family and friends. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. Emma sure loves you ALL!!!

Driving to the party

My BFF's hubby-Miguel. He was home from Afghanistan for one month. We thought that was
cool he came and spent one of his last nights with his family with ours.
He wanted to show us his swim suit before he put them on!
(no he did not wear these in case you were thinking he really did)

My best friends. REALLY I love these girls! They have got we through some pretty ruff stuff lately.

On her actual birthday we went to my parents and had a little dinner and opened presents. I am so grateful for that time since I didn't know it would be our last birthday dinner with my mom (next post).
